Just looking at the list and I think the "Shakedown" on 8/8/09 is in wisconsin, right, not indiana? Maybe there are two events

The Morris Lions Club has a general car show and swap the day after pileup.. but its not specifically a traditional hot rod show... good traditional parts though.

There are a couple good custom style bike shows.. Mods.vs Rockers in Chicago and Rockerbox in Milwaukee

Every sat night from the middle of May through Halloween at the Buona Beef on Arlington Heights Road, just north of Thorndale (west suburbs) The VooDoo Kings throw a cruise night... chock full of traditional hot rods and customs.. 'bout 150-200 cars every time, more than half of em are traditional-ish.

Also, the Newport Hill Climb in Newport, IN is always the first weekend of October. That would put it October 2nd-4th this year.

Also noticed the Spam O' Rama put on by Bubba's Hot Rod shop. That will be the Friday night of the Indy good guys weekend. June 12th. There is lot's of sights to see for the Good Guys weekend in Indy.

June 10th - Steve Panareas open house(probably butchered spelling)
June 11th - GodSpeed customs in Brownsburg.
June 12th - Spam O' Rama at Bubba's Hot Rod Shop
June 13th - cookout/open house at Culbertsons Customs.

Only the strong are still standing saturday night at Culbertsons.

 

This a little over the 300 miles from Chi-town, but several area clubs, individuals, and business are banding together to re-ignite interest in this one day show on Sunday July 19th. in Gretna Nebraska. A little town about 15 miles west of Omaha. The show will have registration from 10:00 to noon, and show hours from noon to 4:00, an award and trophy presentation will be at 3:00 p.m., a free after show appreciation party with live music will be at a local downtown water hole. We have some special cars scheduled for feature displays, and are trying to make this a user friendly show providing a bunch of easy-up tents for shade, porta potties, water misting cooling station, and we have a great selection of awards including cool homemade trophys and a ton of recycled and modified trophys. The show has been active for the last 15 years and has not been very heavily promoted, and we are doing our best to get this going as a fun event . All area H.A.M.B.ers are invited as are all other area car enthusiasts. Any area clubs we have not been able to contact yet are encouraged to participate.
