I'm looking for recommended machine shops in Orange County Ca. I found a bunch listed in the yellow pages but thought I'd see if anyone has any recommendations .I need the flywheel off my 49 Mercury resurfaced . I need the bushings replaced in my steering box , which I've been unable to find a new set of bushings . I found some great prices $$ on clutch parts through two shops listed in Hemmings . One is FordParts at 1-800-417-3347 . The other is 1-800-clutches . Both use in house rebuilds , if that help anyone . Thanks
Try Hollins Machine near the circle in Orange. He's done some engine machine work for me, great prices and a real time-warp shop (crap everywhere! great fun). Dave
This shop is in santa fe springs down the 5 fwy. L & R automotive 562-802-0443 they do good work.Give em a call.
