SEMA numbers

I've heard several different stories but when did ch***is certification start and where are the numbers stamped....could anybody post some pics????

 

Please elaborate. Are you asking about SFI certification numbers? NHRA Ch***is certification tags?

 

My bad I'm brain dead this AM...Yes I meant SFI on early FED's

 

I don't know,if the actual ch***is had an SFI#,since the sanctioning bodies do the ch***is certification,and apply their tag. You might want to ask this question,with a better ***le for the FED guys.

all ch***is builders had SEMA tags back in the day, a square tag about
1" x 1" with the ch***is builders number in the middle (if my memroy serves me correctly?) see example

here is a list of SEMA ch***is builders from 1979, I don't know why the 1st 10 are missing?
