as usual, we'll be there all weekend. our tribe will be a little short this year as some are goin w/car to GNRS.
    CC 97 and CC 98.
stop by for a beer, soda, whatever.
chili usually served around 11-12 PM on saturday.
we are in the southwest most corner of the fairgrounds. our spots back up to the unused pig stalls. very nice, very, very nice.

Ive been going since before i was born. Havent missed a year yet rain or shine.

  3. Me too!

My mom was pregnant with me in January of 1970... she went with my dad in his '65 ElCamino, and had a space in one of the now coveted buildings.

We went the following year, and then joined the Modesto Area A's in '72...

Lotta fun there as a kid!

Come Buy some Junk !!! :D

  8. I'll be there with my dad (lurking as "Dr. Dave" on the HAMB) trying to find stuff I dont need...and stick to the a.m. beer drinking that is so necessary on swap meet mornings...

I'll try to track down as many of you guys who have noted your spaces here as I can...

  9. Its good to know that you all are going. We'll all be looking for the same **** and thanks to mike and vern we all know what to look for... I'll be looking for a vintage sailboat. I hear they are good on gas mileage...

Leaving Lake Co. at 3am Sat. Have my rain gear.
Need a new set of big and little's for the roadster. Coker people are usually there and can save shipping.
I go even when I don't need anything. I was once asked why. I thought a little and all I could think to say was "I just like being around the stuff".

  14. I agree. In most cases I'm pretty happy to let someone else own it, I just like to admire it for a bit...

    Thanks

The weather on Friday flat out ****ed but Saturday was great. I bought a few things and saw some great stuff. The white '61 Pontiac Ventura for sale in the car corral was my favorite.

My dad and I went up for sat. am. Weather was nice but lots of mud...

Was is just me or was it slim pickens this year? I a**** everyone else am looking for 30-31 model a parts. Didn't seem to be anything there! i was able to find a p*** door and a cool 50 ford dash.

Just thought there was a lot of useless **** this year.
