small cheap radiators

    looking for a radiator thats about 20" by 20" to fit under my 36 chev grille shell. anyone now where to get one that size that doesnt cost 500 bucks? I think the one in my old 31 coupe was out of a mustang but im not sure. it was a real small three core.any help would be appreciated. kenny Rumblers CC Nomads

    Do a search "mustang radiator" there is tons of info on here on the 64-66 Mustang rads

    some guys are using Ford Ranger radiators, don't know the specs, though.

    65 mustang radiator fit my 36 chevy grill shell . It was 125.00 at autozone

    try a fork lift company - they have lots of selections and all small sizes - 4 core , most of them and they work great - Jaxx
     
  8. I bought a ford falcon radiator for my 30 chevy. Smaller than the mustang.

    Tractor/farm supply. I've had good luck with 8N ford radiators.

    thanks for the info fellas.just bought the radiator at advance auto parts.139.00 it measures 16 3/8w by 17 1/4 h by 2".3 row.both hoses on pass side. can't beat the price.part number at advance is 433259. gonna fit perfectly in my 36 chev grille shell.

    i found a good size one in a postal jeep,and it was a four core,dont know why a four core ,maybe lots of idling

    A place here in townhas started making radiators for old cars BriceThomas radiators 256-546-4613 they have not started advertising at car shows yet but they will.

    got that mustang radiator.little bigger than described.they must give the core dimensions and not include the height of the tanks.gonna be a tough fit in front of the crossmember ,leaving room for the lower hose and fitting the grille shell over the axle.
