This one comes first inmind; Lincoln Futura 1955... (But unfortunatelly somebody cut it up and painted it black! hahaa, yoking )
I have been fortunate enough to own several of my dream cars. Here are some of them http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/album.php?albumid=256 This will be my next one
Dang!! ultimate dream car(s) #1 57 58 Pylm FURY #2 58 59 Edsels #3 56 57 Corvette #4 49 Mercury I can't Name them all.
One of many, but a car I have wanted since I was just a kid is a Jensen CV8. 1963 English fibregl*** sports car with a big block Chrysler engine. It may seem an odd choice but I think it was my first taste of real horsepower and I have wanted one ever since.
Don't know if it's my ULTIMATE ride but Poverty Flats has THE T-Roadster I would love to build. That Chevy 6-cylinder ride is what I'd love to have!
KEITHMAN......brothers?.... Here is my dad's '60 Starliner w/Hypo 352, 360 Hp in 1960 and in 2008. It was our family ride all growing up. My dad still owns it. My ultimate dream car is a 1966 Ford GT40. Mike
Since the first time I ever saw a pic of this car, I've dreamed of building a street version. Mine's gonna have a blown 428 FE, C6, magnesium Americans and will be white with a full stock interior and likely a straight axle, even tho the original didn't.
sweet *** rides guys, im lovin this, i had a good feeling this thread would get a few pages, i like that 55 futura, neat neat cars guys.
I was going to say a 1941 Ford 1/2 ton or a 1929 Madel A closed cab. But since I can't seem to pull the trigger on selling the one I have maybe I already own my dream car!!!! T-bucket. Bill
I would love a bone stock '65 GTO, Mayfair Maze with a black convertible top, Parchment interior and Rally Ones or dog dishes on plain steel. I would like to build a '30 or '31 Model A roadster on it's own frame, with "tradition" to the max...meaning "less" that is so much "more". Man I still revert to thinking about a '64 GTO hardtop, also. If I were rich, I would buy a '62 GP, a '60 Ventura, and a '61 Ventura too. I want 'em bone stock, like a time capsule. Why am I stuck here? I guess I miss Dad. I miss his love of automobiles, I miss his companionship when mental turmoil hadn't got the best of him.
I haven't seen any pics of this on the GNRS, but it was absolutely *****in!! It's a Steve Moal car built for George Poteet.
