Walt is one town over from where it landed.Walt may have lost power. Wife's mother lives in charlotte where it hit. Just called her it has p***ed and she lost the shed gone and it was tied down if thats all she lost it a good thing.And now we are waiting to get are pounding between 9pm and midnight.
Been wondering the same thing. I had boarded up the house here, but all we got is a little rain and a couple branches nocked down. After seeing the damage down south, I'm glad I boarded up.
That's good, TV pictures look nasty, I'm going outside to unboard the house. I called Nads cell, left message. I'll try Draglinkscc later. If anybody hears from Orlando, please post it. They are only reporting on the Charlotte Harbor area right now.
I just talked to SwitchbladeTeeth, and he said there were trees down everywhere in O-town. He talked to Walt this morning, and he said that they were o.k. Our cell connection was ****py, but I think he said Walt was out helping a friend that had some damage.
Hey all.... THanks for your concern. We made it through without any problems. Just lost power. But I have a lot of friends that got hammered. Not a pretty site down there. Just missed me by a couple miles. I spent all week helping with the relief effert. Thanks for you concern, and see you at the heatstroke
