Good Luck.. i got lucky and found out a cousin of mine worked for a welding shop and she was able to get me a deal since she never uses her discount. But before that i was looking at paying big money EVERYWHERE.. I can tell you a little mom and pop style welding shop i called and told them I was getting a family discount but had to drive far for it and wanted to see if they could match my price and they gave a decent deal so you might want to try some smaller shops, it helps if you pay cash and maybe if you have access to a resale number. Good Luck.

contact Your local Welding house. I doubt they are giving them away, But everything expensive seems to be able to be bought cheaper than retail here lately.

If you are looking to buy new, best prices I have found are Indiana Oxygen Company. They sell on ebay as IOC. Shipping is usually pretty reasonable and no sales tax. I bought my Syncrowave 250 thru them since none of the local dealers would come close to their price. Another thing to keep in mind is Miller is at a lot of the big car shows (NSRA, SEMA, PRI, etc.) and they make good deals through their local distributors. That's how I bought my last MiG.

Exactly right. If you have a TSC store locally, their Hobarts are on a 10% sale until the end of January. The HH187 or HH210 are fantastic machines, IMO.

I got a pretty good deal on my Miller DVI. It was last years model and they had made some changes to the new one. Brand new on the floor, and saved $300. I also got a deal on a plasma cutter which was a demo at a trade show, saved $400 on that. Something to keep in mind when shopping.

I have to agree about cyberweld.com

I bought a dynasty 200DX from them and it was the best price around. My local dealer couldn't even come close. they said I should buy from cyber weld at that price. my local guys are cool since I buy all my consumables from them.
