I borrowed this picture from another HAMBer since I dont' have mine uploaded yet from GNRS.

I've been seeing these wheels popping up here and there. It's seems it all started at Pinkees last year (or maybe earlier).

What the heck are these?? Is there someone selling these or are these specially cast for them (or someone else)??

I didn't even know where to begin looking for info on them. Sorry if it's been discussed already.

    Thanks!

    Scooter,
If I remember correctly, they were made by Boyd. (I don't know the specifics of the wheel company vs. the shop and where they stand now...) It seems like the question was asked when similar wheels were spotted (GNRS last year?) on the '32 Sedan that Pinkee's is building.

I've talked to the guys from Pinkee's at different events and they are always willing to answer questions - good guys....

They're the same set that was on the `32 Tudor last year.

They would only look 'just right' spindle-mounted like that in my opinion. One of the coolest wheels ever for sure.

    Word!

Yep! There's the Sedan and I remember the thread. Couldn't remember if those wheels were one in the same or not.

That thread helped... Sounds like Boyd maybe made one of the wheels and here's what Jeem had to say...

For some reason I was thinking I saw these on another car that was NOT Pinkees built, this year. Maybe I'm mistaken and it was just something similar. Probably was...

Malcolm, good meeting you at GNRS this year! Hope you enjoyed your time in Cali!

If you look close it looks like the motor out of that sedan is in the 32 roadster next to the T roadster with the wheels.

Those wheels not only look sweet, but they look expensive as all hell. Serious eye candy.

Christmas tree base? For shame, that's a perfectly good toilet seat lid in some rural counties...

Good eye, but it's actually a different motor, seems the headers are community property though!
