Speedway Motors....any good?

i know when you buy cheap what can you expect....but are there parts(engine,trans mounts ect) worth the cash or no? anywhere else i should go for if they suck?

 

I buy everything (almost) from them. Got em on speed dial

Just bought a pair of ceramic-coated lake-style headers for my coupe there ~ 2 months ago. One had a bad weld and developed an exhaust leak. The other discolored right away. I called them up and they sent me a new set the next day on a handshake type agreement that I would send the defective set back. The new set is great. I consider that pretty good service.

I have gotten a bunch of stuff from them. Good people! I had a problem with a power brake booster. They couldn't have helped any more. The second one was bad again. I thought the guy on the phone was going to come out with a proven good part and help me put it on.

Everyone has problems. How they help you, is what separates them from the rest. Speedway is tops in the field with good parts at good prices and service after the sale.

I made a large order with Speedway in early December 08. There were some problems. They kept working with me until everything was fixed to my satisfaction. The order guys are perfect. Sometimes the tech guys are a little too sure of themselves, and sometimes they are WRONG. If you have a problem, call & explain, they will fix it.

Speedway has been good to me, the only thing I had major problems were with the Carrera coilovers!! They suck, stay away from them! Speedway only sells them for Carrera and could cot help me with them. Carrera wouild not help me. Otherwise, everthing from Speedway that I ordered is as described.

 

Man, all these parts you guys been buying from Speedway could have netted you a big savings if you bought them through one of there dealers like Eric at Riley Automotive. Oh, and if you aren't an alliance member, you should be. Damn, sounds like a paid public anouchment, eh?

 

I've had great service with Speedway and 2 day delivery. I'm about to buy some more parts from them.

been a dealer for them since they started the hot rod deal.... i use their stuff on all of my cars....not sure on the chinese stuff , most of the mr roadster stuff i get seems to have come from india... and a lot of the parts are from other suppliers , like magnum , posie,vintiques and such....love the fact that i can order by 3 and have it in 2 days....yeah those carrera coil overs are cheesy junk with shiny chrome.... used them once.....went to qa1's on the last 3...and i even have them on speed dial as well... if you get their catalog....also get the other dirt track catalogs as well....lots of cool stuff in those too......

 

We've bought a lot of Model A parts from Speedway. Never had a problem. Great Service!!
