I normally like both and it would be a hard decision, However the slicks on the car are too wide,...... ( Yes,... I said too wide), Maybe some pie crust slicks that were a little narrower would trip my trigger on this one,...... but given just the two options,... I would go with the Firestones, and save these slicks for a straight axle g***er

The best picture you got up there is the 3/4 front shot with the slicks, the car has a lot of angles distracting from headers or tires on the profile shot.

As far as the headers go its just like the tires basically. The slicks give the car a different look than the stones do. So a simple swap of the headers will give this car a different appearance. Personally I think a pair of lake style headers will give the car the better look. But just go with the owners opinion becase as long as he is happy thats all that matters....

 

headers are *****en in person. and after running myself over a few times while pushing this car, i say go with the stones.

 

I like the slicks better, personally. Perhaps some headers similar to these. A little overdone, I suppose with the T-bucket crowd. Maybe too "gold chainer" for your rat rodding client, I don't know. Not knocking the guy, I wish I had a '30s body myself.

 

Yep, I like the stones too. And, yes, I think the car has a great look that could be really nice with some different headers and some more traditional breathers. Very unique ride.
