Well,,,according to my books,,a Medalist is supposed to have a Y-block 312,,(the have 2 nuts on valvecovers top). And the Montclair had a 383 in 58,,I "suppose" they are pretty much a Ford FE (332,352),,or AM I wrong?? About fireing order,,,I have to check,,but I suppose any garage in your area knows that. Firing order is 15486372/ its a 312 cu in, they made 18,732 of them. comp ratio is 9.7:1 255 hp,timing is 3deg/ 6deg if auto. ck out Carnut.com,

It's real easy Boy's. FE has the dist. in the front. Y-Block dist. is in the rear, or nearst the firewall. You could get both in 58. The Wizzard
