Well Two roofs and a few missed deadlines later, we finally finished the Thunderbird. The last few weeks before the show have been crazy, but it was worth the lack of sleep. This was my first time at the GNRS in Pomona, and it was great. Besides all the bitchin cars to see, there were lots friends to visit with. Just a great weekend. Here are some shots of the bird. Sorry for the poor quality of the pictures. Kevin
Stunning Guys! I could be real happy seeing every Bulletbird on the Planet chopped....There's something magic about those cars...Well Done! Centurion9
Thanks for the kind words Blue Collar and J Ripper. Scott, I'll see you in Sac at the autorama. kevin
WOW, you guys did an AMAZING job on it. Those photos don't do the color justice. Just stunning in person. Congrats!
Thanks everyone for the kind words. A lot of sacrifices with family and friends were made to finish this car. I'm glad that people are enjoying it. Kevin
Sweet cigar people. Love those clean teeth. Paint colour is dignified sporty- best one so far. Could you display car with nice big photo of engine bay next time. Those lines are too sweet to hiccup with an open hood. Thanks- glad I checked this baby out.
Holy crap that car is gorgeous!!!!!!! It looks like the work and sleep deprivation was worth it. You should be proud.
Spoggie, It's always a hard call when showing. I to love the lines of the car with everything shut, but I'm also trying to show my abilities as a builder. This car, like my 51 victoria, are cars that I am using to get work. There are hundreds of hours of work in the engine bay that would seem a waste if I kept it closed. So for now the car is open at the indoor shows, then we will close it up and drive. I'll try and post another set of pics with everything closed next week. Kevin
Thanks again for the good words. Sorry again for my crappy photos. Kirk you stayin in Sac or going back and forth?
