Hi Guy's, Veterans upholstery supply is having its final estate sale this weekend. NOS Materials, Carpet etc. I went to their last one back in November and was kicking myself for not buying more. This time they have said most will not be over $25. I'm going to buy carpet and some of the materials for the future. Its on Sunday as well and its just around the corner from The Darhorse tavern on Lubbock. See you there...
It starts 9am. Thursday through Sunday. They had a few moulded carpet sets last time I was there mainly for Corvettes and Mustangs, had some mid 50's Chevy convertible tops and a lot of NOS early VW stuff. Also a lot of Mercedes stuff. You had to look as there was stuff crammed in the rafters and every where. They hadn't even opened up the main carpet storage area. Did see some metal flake vinyls there.

This is supposed to be the final 'liquidation' weekend. I bought some old oil cans and some dog dish caps. I even found a pair of 94s, but they wanted ePay prices. Even though I was dealing with a lady she knew what they were and what they were 'going for'. I decided I didn't need them as bad as she did. I might go Sat. to see what's left.

Went over there today...They've got plenty of bits and pieces...I bought a carb, gas and brake pedal in the box for $20...Broad behind the money box said they'd be opening at 10am on Sunday...
Did they have the carpet warehouse part open? Last time I was there it was so dark in that building you couldn't see what they had.
I ended up with two complete rolls of carpet, another pair of seat belts and enough panel board for my whole trunk. $60. Not a bad score.
