If he's back I'll have to subscribe again. I let it lapse after he left after a 20+ year stint with them in my mailbox each month
I liked how Dave would occasionally rag on himself for having too many non-running projects or slightly cracked ideas for a project. I first met him on Power Tour, and thought he was maybe a little standoffish. I subsequently talked to him for a while at the NMCA Finals last fall in Memphis and realized that he's a super nice guy and that I should avoid making snap assessments of everyone because sometimes I'm dead wrong. I'm happy to see Dave back at the helm, start-up websites take a while to grow and I don't think that the investor base of CJ was patient enough. I was actually going to email him Monday to offer to help with that part of it since I've had some success with past websites like www.LS1Tech.com. John
I have never met him or read any of his hot rod articles, but he's friends with some of my buddies in South Dakota. They are into 4x4's. I've heard a lot of cool stories from them about him. Oh yah, I guy I know in Wiliston, ND built him a very cool jeep while he was still with Hot Rod.
