I,m wondering who is all going. I have not been to this one yet but have heard it is a good swap meet. But then again indoor swap meet in Feb. weather should be a good motivator. http://www.kaarc.org/winterswapmeet.html
Will be there in the early AM Saturday. HAMB and RRT guys usually meet at 10 AM in the north/south connecting hallway. Charlie
I'll mark my calendar, will see how bad the weather is. No plans right now, if I go it'll be Saturday morning. too bad it's not outside. . .
My son and I will probably be there, weather permitting. Because of the blizzard last year, we almost didn't make it home. A big accident closed us-127 and we had to take drifted back roads home. Red
The boys and I will be there. Bringing home a '52 Chevy 3100 from Plainwell afterwards. If anyone wants to ride along from this side, we may have an extra seat. You can help winch the truck up on to the trailer!!
Sunday morning bump, long range weather forecast not too bad for next weekend. I should be there Saturday morning
Gonna miss you guys this year, three things all fall on the same day. Glo and I are headin' to Springfield for HAMB-burger Horseshoes with da tinman and posse after our usual SW Chicago HAMB and Eggs breakfast. Maybe the planets will align next year, sure hope so, K'zoo's a GREAT time!
I'm going with 3 friends. Kalamazoo is usually a really good swap meet. Usually get good deals. Especially outside. We'll be there about 10 Am Sat too.
racron1120, 45* and wet. That's pretty good weather for February in Michigan. Bmp for the still undecided or last minute crowd.
45 in Michigan in February, I'll look for the Copportone. Should be there Saturday morning sometime, probably early.
Im going to be there! Im new to the HAMB, but have been attending that swap for years. It would be great to meet some HAMBers from the detroit metro area! Ill try to catch somebody (figurative, not literal).
I was planning on it, it's always an interesting swap. My wife is having knee surgury tomorrow so no swap meet on Saturday. She said I could go, but i know better than that!!!!! Have fun guys but don't tell me all about the cheap Model A frames I've been looking for.....
never heard of it, do they usually have a lot of parts late 1920's-early 1930's thats basically all I need..if so maybe I'll make the 2 hour trip
From my experience this swap tends to caters to OLDER cars and the "resto" crowd, (20's-40's) i think its connected to the Antique Auto ***oc. somehow. Thats said, theres usually a good smattering of a bit of everything you never know whats gonna show up. Besides, where else can you go in MI in February for your automotive fix? That said, i probably wont be going. been more into MCM house stuff lately...
well you could put on a nats t shirt and hit the bar Thats rod related... I was thinking of running out sunday and look around cause im was thinking about a little project but the yesterday after 31 years i joined the ranks of the unemployed ... Ill stay home and work on the harley and save some money... Who ever is going its a good swap but you may or may not find that deal your looking for although there are deals . Id think with the economy as it is there may be more that usual.. Have fun... Dave
I'm about 120 miles away, hope to be there around 9-10 Saturday morning. Unfamiliar with the area but it doesn't look too hard to find. So... 10 oclock-ish, north/south hallway? I'll try & find it.
