Anyone get any pics of this car at the show? It won 1st place in it's class. I'd like to know what class it was in and how many in that class. We built the car for the owner of Burr King mfg and he gave it to a long running employee of his for 2008 Christmas bonus.. The car's new home is in Cal. and i'm from Missouri, so I don't know the new owner.
bonus? man!... Is there any job openings? That has to be about the coolest Christmas bonus I could imagine.
Well, that's odd. The owner of Burr King called me yesterday and said it won 1st in it's class. He didn't have the details though.
DUDE! You're the one that built that??!! Fucking awesome coupe!! Honestly, everytime someone asks me which car was my favorite at GNRS (which I could never pick one) that one always pops into my mind. Simple, no BS hot rod! Please post YOUR pictures from the build. Nice job! ALSO! 60'coupe, here onthe HAMB was trying to find out the paint color! Please PM him with the info if you have it.
Here's a slide show of it. Posted it a few times before. Not all the pics of it's build, just a summary. I beleive the new owner added caps and rings. <div style="width:480px; text-align: center;"><embed type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" src="http://w258.photobucket.com/pbwidget.swf?pbwurl=http://w258.photobucket.com/albums/hh258/mikeb9933/afcdda26.pbw" height="360" width="480"></div>
How can I make a copy of your little slide show? Man I'd love to have one if that's OK with you? I love the way you've arranged eveything but it's going by too fast for me to get a good look at it. I don't know how I have missed it. Good luck.
rust2rich.. Are you Mike B .??? I did those headers a few years ago... Man they look amazing chrome plated!!
Very nice ! Under-stated but it just grabs you and stays with you just like the true hot rods in history do.
I found out the color, it is 1961 Porsche Slate Gray. Very nice, clean and classy car with a mean stance. 60'
Actually it's 65 porsche slate gray. Probably the same code. The accent color is also 65. its an interior color. Herinbone gray. I didn't get my sign finished in time for the show, but here it is for the next one.
This is th only pic of it i found from the show http://www.flickr.com/photos/80643375@N00/3222432890/sizes/l/in/photostream/
