Does anyone here know if there is a difference between the frame on a 1951 plymouth convertible vs. a hardtop? Any kind of crazy x-member or anything I should know about that would be on the ragtop and not the sedan? The sedan frame looks pretty beefy so I'm hoping the convertible didn't require any additional bracing.

Thanks. I'm betting that is the case. I've got a complete spare sedan ch***is and a friend of mine has a good convertible body with no ch***is....

Those frames are stout! But to be sure, check with the guys over at www.p15-d24.com for confirmation. Not long ago there was a thread with alot of pics of some rag tops, maybe one of the owners can take a shot of the bottom side.
