Here's a new social group I set up called Kustom Cadillacs of the H.A.M.B. post pics of your caddy's here aswell http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/group.php?groupid=234&gmid=29546#gmessage29546
My most recent add to my stable. 51 Cadillac Coupe De Ville. Series 62. Its original w/ a rebuilt 331 and Hydro. I cant wait to dig into it. Rust only in both rear quarters and drivers floor. I will lower it a few inches (debating on a simple bag setup), get the interior redone and metal work completed. I have read about dropped spindles, but cant find anything about it. Anyone got a drivers side fender skirt? Body and paint...probably later in the year.
Probably a tad too new for the HAMB, but here's my '67 Eldorado (with '68 turn signals) that I have sitting in storage for the time being: Love the super long nose on these cars!
Check this social club out for Cadillac guys on the HAMB, it's a very cool group take a look see. Click on the underlined above CRUISER
Here's a picture of a Cadillac that I 'stole' off of eBay a year or so ago. I love the look of the car! JG
Here's another eBay Cadillac. This one is called a "Flower Car' used by the mortuary to haul the flowers to the grave site. They were converted by the same companies that did the he**** conversions. Looks kinda like an El Camino top. I can't remember what it sold for, but it seemed like a bargain. Flowers don't weigh much....can't imagine it's ever been too over-loaded! ;o) JG
Here's my '63 Coupe...I have some plans, but first, anyone know of any quality shops that could rebuild my 390 in or around the Inland Empire area (909) if you will?
OK, guess I'm a ***** for thumbs up! Already posted these elsewhere, but since you asked, here's my '49, with all Seville running gear & suspension. The interior is not finished yet, too busy driving it, UH, unless I just broke the motor. Details to follow as soon as I get my new knee moving better!
I was thinking it was a Broughm, there was a 58 here in town for a while. retty rare cars like you said!
vonpahrkur that's very interesting information on the Italian '60 Cadillac a good read. Charles your '53 is one fine looking cruiser and looks very nice in red. CRUISER
Hey Charles are you using stock frame or did you put in a sub frame I was just wondering how you put in your motor mounts??? I am getting ready to put in a BBC in my 53.
Charles, yours is looking excellent.Might have to bring it to NJ this year for Lead East. And speaking of,the Purple 60 Brougham,is owned by none other than Terry Cook.He is the man behind Lead East.Saw it some years ago there, the car is awesome.
