Hot Rods Congrats to CrazyD on the new R&C Cover!

Congrats to fellow Vagabond CrazyD for getting his A on the cover of R&C and the well written article he and R&C Lee put together! Many of you saw his car at the HAMB drags. Having seen this car come together from the start I can say Dave had a VISION and followed through til he got there.

Funny.....I was reading it last night, and was going to ask ya if you knew the guy. Very nice build, I love how the back end turned out...looks like Henry made it that way.

Yup, first met Dave close to 10 years ago. When I lost the space I was using to build the T, Dave stepped up like a true friend and offered garage space for me to work on the T next to his A. He barely knew me at teh time. Since then he has become a good pal. Wait until you see the raodster he is working on!

 

Good looking stuff. Congrats on scoring the cover, and bringing the Vagabonds fame, wealth, prestige, women, and all that great stuff. Well... maybe not all those things.

 

Most of our fame is the type people try NOT to get!

 

I saw and thought "Man that car is clean."

With a car club name like "Vagabonds" I can only imagine!

Only because Dave is a straight shooter. Notice he tried to mention all parties involved in the project? Refreshing when these days it seems many folks try to wrongly claim all the credit. That is why I am proud to call D a friend.

Congratulations! I hadn't seen it before. I had to check out the article before I even got inside with the mail! I am surprised to see the car has been done for almost 3 years! I really like that car, but I am kinda partial to to shiny, unchopped, full-fendered, '30/'31 A tudors with a '32 grill and tank! I wanted to do a white top too but ours sits outside often and I was worried about keeping it clean.

Again, congratulations man...that is a very cool sedan!

 

Dave, when my copy came in the mail I took one look and said, "Hey I know that car!"

Damned well deserved. I was blown away in '07 at the Drags by how clean and well thought out that car is.

Makes being a Vagabond even cooler now. lol
