no sin in driving a cheap four door. Good for you. Too bad more people don't see the opportunity to get a cool old car, that likely was well-cared for, for not much $.
PRIDE. Too often it gets in the way of fun. or success.

My 52 buick I bought at "Back to the 50s" auction a couple of years ago for $2500. The old guy that owned it had a Buick dealership in Minneaplois area so it was in amazing condition.

yea....in my opinion, 4 doors do not belong in the kustom and hot rod family..4 doors are good to learn and cut up as a first car, and as daily drivers, although there are a SMALL exception of cool 4 door kustoms..

I agree with kerry67,whether they are as kool as a coupe or a longroof doesn't matter, they're kool because they are old and part of automotive history,I'd rather drive an old moredoor than a f#*kin hyundai!

Hey you taxi drivers, what's a complete (minus engine and trans) rust free '48 Dodge four door with a good clean ***le worth? I'm thinking about picking it up to turn if it's worth anything.

I'm thinking about a '68 Ford 4 door pickup truck wagon to give the oldskool treatment to. How much should I pay? What do you think?

Cant figure out how to post a picture yet. You'll have to check out my photo album. I payed 1000 bucks for my 52 chevy. Didnt run when i got it. Put a starter on it and it fired up. Only if you funnel feed it. Gas tank is full of dirt!!

I'll sit on both sides of the fence on this one. I'd rather have a two door...but...
I picked this up for nine hundy and drove it about 30 miles home. fixed the electric(most of it) and the cooling system so far. It's a learner, that's all. See signature.
