hi i went to a car show this past weekend and there was model cars for sale and i bought (for 18 dollars) a ed roth autographed mysterion model unbuilt!!!! how much is it worth?
Depends on if it is a legitimate autograph or not. His son is on here and if you could get him a photo of the signature he could probably verify it that way. If it is the real deal then you my friend will have a nice heirloom!!
i'm pretty sure it's real i saw his autograph on my car friend's photo album and they look the same. what is his son's screen name? and are you serious it's not worth much?
who cares what it's worth , if its legit you have a cool piece of memrobilia and what does it matter ?
Why does it have to be worth a lot of money? Why cant it be cool for what it is? It was priced fairly @ $18... Did you buy it to flip it for a profit? If so, you bought it for the wrong reason... You should have left it for someone who appreciates it instead of trying to get a piece of the "barret jackson" phenomenon. Sorry if I'm comming off like a *****... I'm just saying...
Priceless. Really. No price. Just be grateful you have something that few do. That being said, I'll give ya $20 for it.
no i'm not selling it i was just curious. there is a beatnik bandit signed model at a antique shop for 150
i have two Ed Roth signatures on Roth memorabilia..one is a Rat Fink poster and the other is one of his comic books from the 60's. i watched him sign both of them and have never even considered what they are worth because i plan on keeping them Roth was a very generous guy and would sign just about anything you put in front of him cheerfully....in fact he signed so much of his stuff that it may be harder to find without his signature
I have 2 Ed Roth autographs and a pic with him. He autographed a Rat Fink coloring book and issue of Hot Rod Show World with The Outlaw on the cover.
I have a t-shirt that was signed by Mr. Roth at Englishtown when he was there a few years ago and it's still wrapped. Not for sale even for 200. Keep yours!!! the man"s a legend....
when i was a young misguided youth, i went to a world of wheels with my mother. mr. roth was there signing memorabilia for no charge. i did not understand who he was at that time. i did not get an autograph, but my mother did. now where did she put that picture?
I have a number of things signed by Ed, My buddy Clyde has a ton of it along with original art work,.... Sonny DePalma is on here and he also has a ton of Roth stuff, Ed was a good guy,... there were a couple threads on here recently about Big Daddy. The real stuff http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=327369&highlight=roth The fake stuff http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=327193&highlight=roth
looks like you got a pretty cool piece of memrobillia there what else can you get for $18 these days , put it up on a shelf somewhere and enjoy it and don't wory about what it's worth , the man was a legend !
