Hi all, long shot time.Decided a while back that I wanted to carpet the 'Kripple Kart' throughout in black with silver thread 'Trinidad' style carpetting. I've phoned around EVERYWHERE to try and get some on a roll only to find out from the manufacturers ACC that they no longer make it. Is there anyone out there in H.A.M.B land who has or who knows of someone that can get hold of approx. 11yards of the stuff or something similar, and ship it here to England. I'm not looking for any favours and cost isn't an issue, I just really had my heart set on black with silver thread. Thanks in advance Paul
Krip, The people in this link show it, but maybe that is a company you have tried? There is a trim shop two doors down from me that do a lot of restoration work, I will check with them tomorrow to see if they have a source for bulk buying.
Hi thanks man I'd really appreciate that.I don't mean to seem ungratefull or anything, but I think you forgot to post the link Paul
I believe Nads just bought a few yards of it, though he said it was being discontinued....try "PM"ing him! There was a post about it a couple weeks ago.
I have a 55 Buick Special that I would like to use this for. I want the black with gold though. How many yards would I need to buy to do the floors and trunk with this carpet? I want to make sure I have enough.
Unfortunately, the rumours that they have discontinued this stuff are true. But apparently, they have some odd pieces left at ACC. Might be worth a try. Paul.
New heads up, anyone as desperate for this stuff as I was, it's well worth giving RODDOORS on here a PM, real helpful H.A.M.B.er Big thank you to Kevin. I am now a happy bunny Viva la HAMB Paul
I just went to this website. I think that they are the ones that make it. http://www.accmats.com/Products/Flooring/Material.aspx I called and got a price and it was a little less than $40 a yard. They told me if I had a Hemmings that they advertise in there and there is a code that will get you 20% off. I looked up their add on the internet and the code was HMNFEB09. Maybe that will save some people some money. It sounds like it is VERY limited now.
