    man...

reading this post is about as friendly as reading the posts that most people in my scene talk about ricers.

    interesting.

another unaccepting crowd. can't see it's all the same idea, customizing a ****in' car to what you want. but nawwwwww couldn't be. big rims = rap star?

everyone's got their profiles all set.

hop in your judge's chairs, put on the black robes and bust out your gables.

    Lets start the judging!

Here is a new flash this is a "TRADITIONAL" rod & custom site not a anytype of rod and custom site. No one is judging they are simply saying it doesn't belong here. Much like the truck in your avitar [IMG]...

That's what I'm saying, there are boards for that ****, this ain't it... Move along... Ohhh.. wait... Kindler gentler...

Come on guys this isn't really what this board is about. I think we should all just think good thoughts about traditional rods and customs and meditate.

so because i have a bagged and channeled "new" truck, i'm ousted?

bah. just because the one custom truck i'm finishing isn't your style doesn't mean one can't be into more than one type of modification.

Well being as this isn't a "new truck" board it's O/T. Now there are a lot of guys here have things that are O/T, but we try and stick to TRADITIONAL rods and customs. Now if you want to talk about them, well cool. If not maybe you might want to try another board or lurk until you have better understanding of the digs here.

I like to dress up like Bozo the clown and take Dwarves out on dates to Bowling Alleys on Rocka-Billy Night (you'd be amazed at how many fights I get into) on my free time. There's nothing more TRADITIONAL than that, but I don't post the pictures here...

There are other forums for GCDBRD (Guys into Clown-on-Dwarf, Bowling, and Rockabilly Dating).

But then again GCDBRD's have taste... Unlike the owners of those cars.

I don't care if Ryan has lowrider roots. He has never stated that this board will tolerate a thread on the subject. What part of "TRADITIONAL RODS AND CUSTOMS " don't you understand.

    You YaHoo...

Ryan has posted pictures of Lowriders before. And more importatntly, as much as I agree with the fact that this particular post probably is too lame for the HAMB, I'll let Grim and Ryan decide what stays and what goes.

It's one thing to be O/T (which he stated that it was on this board)...
It's another thing to call something that someone has worked hard on and is obvoiusly proud of GOOFY!

    RESPECT!

Just to throw another wrench into the mix... to all you guys that keep quoting "TRADITIONAL ROD & CUSTOM"

This is also a public forum... These things will pop up from time to time unless you can get everyone who registers here sign a disclaimer giving you the right to hack off their nuts if they post offtopic ****... Think that will happen? Nope, me neither...

If everyone wasn't so damn "holier-than-thou" we could talk about off topic posts without getting into testosterone filled "my peepee's bigger than your peepee" ******* contests about who's got the cooler car.

If someone posts something that you like, post back that you like it.

If someone posts something that you don't like, post back that you don't like it.

    Or, don't post at all...

Either way, all the "I'm telling Ryan" ******** needs to stop... its silly.

Alright already, jesus h f'n christ!!! i posted the pictures of the Magnum because there is a couple of HAMBers that bought one recently plus there's Magnum enthusiasts and I just wanted to share those pictures with THEM.

for the truck pictures, the truck just happened to be at the same show so i posted those because I thought some "traditionalists" may like it.

for all the people that don't like the fact that i made this post, you didn't have to inquire. the ***led of the post had the word Magnum in it so why did you bother with the post in the first place?

I picked it up at the end of July. It goes to BTG motoring in two weeks for prototype whipplecharger measurements. It's the closest thing I can come to a 'hotrod' considering my 2 1/2 hour commute. 342hp 390ft lbs of torque. Thing has serious ****ing balls for such a big car. High 13s, low 14s. I fell in love the first time I test drove it. Anyone care to discuss Volkswagens? [IMG]

    [/ QUOTE ]

Adjustable pedals are a $200 option. (I think thats what they cost.) They come with an adjustable column both in & out and up & down from the factory. The car is so big, when I sit in normal driving position, I cannot reach the rear view mirror without leaning forward and I'm 6' 5". Get the adjustable pedals.

So you have to own a car to know what "goofy" looks like? A lowrider w/ its tires up in the air is just ****in' goofy. Lots of people here post a pic of their car & some guys say they don't like it (remember the "ridiculously low '31" thread a couple months back?). You post a lowrider & get bent that some of us think its goofy? Get over it. Even flat black w/ www & red rims would look better. And I grew up surrounded by lowriders- I ain't seen one yet that didn't look goofy w/ its tires up in the air. Sorry if you're offended, but thats life.

I know that I've been guilty of postying pics of my old billet claded 51 sedan delivery on here, but at least it was a '51, not a 2004 or 05. Come on guys, lets leave this topic for the import/goldchainer/bling bling crowd.

    Just me 2centavos.
