the trip to hilton's will be waaaay cooler than the v-twin expo.... what booth are you going to be in...?
This is stretch, but if you have most of the day free, and have transportation, you could check out brookeville roadster. It would take most of the day with drive, and the tour. Call them first. Real cool stuff to look at, and good people. I dont know if the tours are on scheduled days, or not, but it would be worth checking into.
When in Cincy, one MUST visit Jungle Jim's grocery store in Fairfield. Also, check out skyline chilli and frickers chicken wings...... Oh yea, and that car stuff also.
If you're doing Brookville. I have a buddy with a shop nearby that is really cool. http://ohiometalcraftsman.blogspot.com/ I believe he has some cool stuff in there right now
Are younot aware of Corngrower (Josh Shaw) who posts on here quite regularly? Why don't you P.M. him and see if he's up for visitors.
I can show you some cool ****! Hiltons is a must! I'll be free Friday. Jungle Jim's is awsome. You can buy a Calf head. I mean a BABY COW's Head. Eyes still in it, tongue sticking out and all. I don't know why that's so cool, but it is. If you buy a fish out of one of their hudge rare fish tanks, they pull it out, smack it on the head (killing it) and cut it up right there in front of you! All while a giant robotic animals play instruments in a band 30 feet in the air... ???!!!! You just gotta see it. Give me a call. 513-257-5121 Joshua Shaw
Hey not sure what your schedule is like sat. night but across the river there will be a good show at the southgate house, the Whiskey Daredevils and Rumble Club are playing.
Try to hit the Jungle on Saturday. Before noon if possible to get the free samples http://www.junglejims.com/ It's the worlds largest grocery store. If you can eat it, they sell it there.... No ****!!! The wine and liquor section is almost an acre big! If vino is your thing, it's an excellent opportunity to take home some of the east side flavor. St. James winery, Hoague, and St. Joseph's Vineyard are some of the best IMHO. The meat case is to die for! Calfs heads, ostrich, zebra.... They got it all. The hot sauce section will keep you captivated for hours. They even have some hot sauces that are over $1000 a bottle, and are "not recommended for human consumption" Largest selection of Jellie Bellies in the world The bakery is pretty good also. Lots of regional and immigrant [european] treats you probably cant get out in Kookafornia. Oh, yea... You must check out the restroom!!!!!
It's close! I did some paint work for the owner of the company that is putting it in. They want it to cross over the highway and the city is giving them ****.
Oh Yeah!!?? I used to know this guy named Dave Garber, too- but I haven't heard from him in awhile, so...
It'll be warm Sat and Sun. I'll be there too. No booth this year, just walking the aisles. I understand there's a machine tool exhibit at the museum at Union Terminal now, if'n you're into that. All the good Jiggly bars are in Covington KY.
It's great! Cars, houses, trees, EVERYTHING! get an INCH of clear Ice on it.. Then the Trees start crashing down on those Cars, houses,.ect... The Ten Inches melted away to about 5" today.. It's supposed to be 30's and sunny tomorrow so a lot more will go.. You'll be fine. JD
