Here it is, my bible, my guiding light into the Ford, Hot Rod history and the quest for "what the hell is that?" Without Ford, and without a guide, non of us would have or will become Hot Rodders. All proceeds go to the HAMB, I'll find out how, and I only ask that shipping costs go to me. Thanks and let the games begin and last for 7 days.

    Start the bidding at $20

It was issued in 1950 I believe. The date in the bottom right says 1950. I have the earlier one with 1949 date, but it's orange.

Sorry about this guys, but I forgot to mention that some of the pages are coming out of the binding. So if you want to change your bids, you can, but you can solve this using a couple of bolts run through the holes. I think my bolts are made for auto repair manuals, but you could use anything. The pages are all there, are clean, and none that I know of are ripped. Matt

Matt -- The fasteners commonly used to hold large drilled do***ents like the Green Book together are called Chicago Screws. They're available in different lengths, and there are extension posts available as well. Think of it as a "system" that allows to tailor the length of the screw to the thickness of the book.

You should be able to find them at a large stationers or artist-supply store where they're popular for binding portfolios. Lacking that, you can buy 'em in bulk, repackage them in sets for the Green Book, and sell them on eBay or at Ford swap meets to help finance your new hot rod! [IMG]
