So here it is. I have a beautiful set of chrome wire rims that I bought years ago and never used. I think they would look great on my car. But, they are 16 inch wheels. Whats your opinion on this? I know its my car, do what I want..... But I'm just putting out the feelers if u will.

    Thanks

If it is that Studebaker, don't even think about it!
If it is anything 1935 or earlier and you like 'em, do it!
Remember traditional generally means run what you've got, and did then too!

HAHA. Kinda the reponse I was thinking. Yeah they would be for the Baker. So I'm guessing stick with the steelies?

  5. 16" wires are as traditional as anything else. They predate 16" steelies which came in with the 40 Ford. But, Ford never had, to my knowledge, a chrome wire wheel in the "traditional" period. That said, I think chrome wires look good on full fendered 28 to 34 Ford cars and out of place on highboys. Your taste may vary.

The Baker or Stude is cool enough just because it is what it is.
