Curious to know what some of you do for a living?

 

proctologist,,,,,the only job where you start on the bottom and stay there.......

 

I'm a shepard.

 

Land Surveyor.

 

Retired as a route driver for a snack company called "Snyder's of Hanover " Famous for their hard ( beer ) pretzel ! 17+ years and the driving screwed my back all up . Their Dr.s said I was fine . I went and got a MRI & that told the story . 3 bad disc in my lower back !
OH well so I live off Social Security Disability & pain meds now . Blows chunks too !
I was 49 at that time and I am 55 now , but have a 55 Ford repair while I drive and a 37 Ply Pick-up that I am building when I can . Should have just settled with the 55 Ford . Truck needs lots of work but they are rare so I bought it !
Work hard for a living and it will kill you ! Work for yourself and be happy !

 

There have been a bunch of threads on this subject but I guess in this type of economy it always changing so I'll bite.

Head Designer for a publishing company plus freelance work when time affords me.

Carpenter/Cabinet maker/Welder. Laid off, so now I'm a bitter, opinionated, self absorbed prick. It's a pretty good job.

I work for a Cat heavy equipment dealer.

 

I'm retired but have a full time job right now fighting Non Hodgkins Lymphoma.I hope to kick it's ass and enjoy being retired really soon.
