A friend of mine has one and he loves it. However I dont think it removes rust, like traditional media does. And he never said how fast it removed material. It sounds like it would be worth the money.
I forgot to mention i was wanting to start a small moble blasting business, and just dont know if this blaster from eastwood would cut it, sure its prolly good for restorations at home, but what about comercialy. Should i just go ahead and shell out a couple thousand for a biger one from some other company?
is there a differecne between a media blaster useing soda or any other type of media, i dont think so, maybe a smaller nozzle, maybe you dont open the valve at the bottom of your tank quite as far as you would with copper slag or silica, its all about the air in any kind of media blasting.
I think with a soda blasting, it is supposed to nutralize the rust while removing. Just what I heard, I've never had any experience with soda blasting with any brand blaster.
