I picked these up last year with an uncut 30s front suspension and bought all the Timken stuff. The suspension got stolen from my shop in KS, but these were in my shop in CO.

Can anyone tell me a year range and what they came off of? They are 5-5.5" bolt pattern, I think 2" brake shoes. The drums have 3 cooling ridges on the outside casting and still have the old bearings/races & seals in them.

Also, I need to know what they are worth these days, I am trying to raise some badly needed cash. I'll post them up on the for sale area once I figure this all out. Also, they have dust from a body shop on them, so that's why they have that weird white look.....
    Thanks
    Greg

    42-48 Ford range.

    Let see
    new springs

    New brake shoes
    Bearings
    seals

Don't know what the surface of the drums are like though
    Thinking $300 or so.

I wouldn't even begin to know what is missing......
    Thanks for pointing that out.
Now I hope to be able to sell them.... I have a leaf sprung/ I beam axle to use on my 18 Dodge - which won't be started for quite a while now. Or at least when I get some income back.:(

Those are 42-48 Ford P***enger and 42-47 Ford Pickup front brakes.
You seem to have everything but a couple shor retainer clips and the cams that go in the holes in the heel of the shoes.
That setup should sell for $250-350.

  9. Pasadenahotrod, I have a set of these brakes, and have everything except the cams that go in the bottom of the shoes, can you suggest anywhere to find them?

The backing plates you have, don't have a bottom adjusters. It only has the upper adjusters, the lower anchors are fixed and act as pivots. Looks like the only thing missing are the spring clips that hold the shoes to the backing plate.
