I will be in Chico the weekend of Feb. 7. Any must see or do things related to old cars? Or any other recommendations while in town? Thanks.

 

Yeah, be happy you didnt have to go there in summer time. Its hot. But a must do is the Sierra Nevada brewery. They have really good food.

Hey, my band is playing at a place called the Maltese in Chico that night. I'll be hanging out at the Sac Autorama all day before that, but it would be good to see you out! I'll probably be driving the Lincoln up.

Take a drive from town up through Bidwell park. A big chunk of the original Robinhood movie was filmed out there. Last time I was there the log that was used in the fight with little John and Robin was till there. Hike up to the top of the bluffs if you are into that kind of thing. I know of some abandoned missle silos out there from the 60's also.

Get a date and go to Madison Bear Garden, get drunk than go to Reno and get married. That's what I did and have been paying for it ever since. You might have better luck just don't marry a lawyers daughter.
