The "51" in case part number indicates a part revised for 1935-36 trucks, so the trans is noe earlier than 1935. It might have been used for years after that. Gears were I think the same about 1930---early 1950's. Not synchronized, very low geared in first, HEAVY.
thanks ! We don't want to use it, we found it and we was curious to know what it is. Anything to save ? gears to use in a car ****** ? or just completely differents ?
Piece of worthles trivia: I believe the Offenhauser Indy car transmissions used 2 gears worth of the insides of this transmission!
Somebody restoring a truck or WW2 military truck would like that. I always liked the noises they make. You can tell what gear they're in by the whine as it p***es you by.
