hard to believe that is the same vehicle you started with. Way to have the vision on this one. I never really got where you were headed until you were done! It's sweet.
Also what is the kick*** building with the old multicolored block sides?

    Thanks Django!

Yeah Mikey, as long as you and the Mrs. are happy with it that's really all that matters. Tell the Mrs. to bundle up and you guys can take a test drive (after we've checked all the systems) up and down the alley. :)

I know the Bubba's crew will take function, quality and reliability over form 100% of the time, but it's really rewarding to see both come together like this. The truck is a knock out for sure! :) Huge Kudo's to Jeff and Brian for the amazing finishing job on the body, George for a great upholstery and voodoochillimac for some superb wood work. Just unbelievable.

WOW,, we are on the 5%/95% rule now !!! Thats where the last 5% takes 95% of your time. Great evening with Tons of help!!! Everyone has really stepped up on this project , right down to the gl*** bead and parts ruuners etc. Everyone is involved and really deserves a healthy "Thank You" and should be more than a little proud of this car re-do....
The wiring is almost done , the dual coils are mounted, exhaust tips installed, wood floor for bed almost there, pin striping done and fresh ( ask voodichli- he rubbed his stomach on the fresh paint). Brakes adjusted and bled. Dash kinda fitted etc........ List is getting shorter , look for a full sat report.....:cool::D

Thanks for the Mexican sandwiches - glad I left before the beer and food had an adverse affect on "air-quality". I think it's time for me to bring in a High-Life recycle bin. Been thinking a lot about the justification for building old cars being recycle/reuse and think we should apply it in the shop... plus my recycle pick-up is on Thursday morning so I can manage the "program". Good excuse to paint up a garbage can with a "Bubba's Recycles" logo - which I think could make a great t-shirt too!?!

I'm diggin' it - I really like the way all the colors / textures in the interior come together.

There's a lot going on but it all fits.

:DWOW, another sat session gone. This is our last sat before the Indianapolis Motorama Car show at the Indy fairgrounds next weekend.
Lots got done today , lindross finished the wiring making it complete, i got the ignition system finished ( still need to set the timing next week), voodochile got the wood bed finished and mounted, eagle tucky finished the shifter linkage, seats are mounted ( goona need a smaller steering wheel with the new seats), steering got done for the last time, gas tank is installed with some fuel in it and the engine runs. Trans tunnel shield was made and snap upholsdtry installed. 99.9% completed car for the show..!!
Noodle brought his car by as the brakes still have a problem of some sort on the rear. Wally supervised a tear down of the rear brakes , i recut the drums a little and they were bled, seems as if some air was in the system.
Rusty trailered his T to the shop as we volunteered to help get it ready for the show as well. Nothing like waiting until its 7 days before to start another one. Oh well we have done worse....:eek::eek::eek::D
