first off hi to everyone. this is the problem im helping my best bud build a 57 chevy wagon gasser. he bought a front axle assembley, but it is a drop axle not a straight axle. we would like to find somebody with a sraight axle that is as close to 52 inches end to end as possible, or if you know the width that is needed is different and have one . he has all the spindles and brake assembley off the drop axle. the drop axle shows a total drop of about 6" if any one has a straight axle this one will be available to you as part of the deal if interested . any help would be appreciated. i know speedway has them, but the funds are to low right now for the speedway priceing. thanks for any help :)
