unfortunately, they're charging 5.00 to park for spectators at gateway, something they never did at riverport...
Yeah they charge, they are a race track and they have to make money. As long as its five bucks and not more, count me in.
i'll do both. hell i always find something at the riverport/gateway one, so why not try six flags too.

Go to the April Fools Swapmeet April 5. Or not if it rains. I may go to both. I just hope they have 3 or 4 lanes open to collect the parking. That sucks to sit in line a hour to get in only to see one person collecting money in a single file line. Cars were backed up to the Interstate.
Was a vendor last year at Six Flags... I bought way more than I sold...!!!!! Got two ( very much needed ) near new tires for my Jeep for $30 bucks and over in the yard sale section I bought a VERY NICE high speed HP Laser Printer with super low miles on it for $40 wow. Gosh I needed that printer bad. Am over on the East Coast on business and can't make either show or so it appears Anyone have a date for the Sedalia MO show... lots of vendors were at that one also. Springfild MO.... the promoter there told me they filled all 5 parking lots for the first time ever last year wow.... I'll make that show. Rumor is I'm buying out a vintage engine shop and will have a huge pile of goodies up for grabs at the summer show in Springfield...!
Ill be in chicago for the six flag one but I will be at Gateway I think thats the best swap around our area besides Indy.
The Model T club swap meet (gateway) is changed for 2011 to Fairmont Park....still $5.00 for parking.

Rain out at Six Flags. Wasn't bad though. Gateway for sure, but also GCS Ballpark swapmeet is a good one. Will be having a small swap meet in Jerseyville IL at the American Legion on March 24.
