Where can I get good lifters... Race ceritifed, Case Hardend lifters...something... Having problems with crap lifter quality control...
What in that thread is supposed to help him find decent lifters? NADA, zip, zero, zilch. Lot's of nice tech articles for that motor though... Now as far as lifters go it can be hard to find decent ones these days. I have a listing for Crower lifters for the 215 Part # 66050-1 I can't vouch for the quality, but I've had good luck with their stuff in past. A couple of parts houses have listing for them. I also see that the Isky cam kits for the 215 with lifters. Crane shows a listing and T/A Performance does as well. Lucky thing is it seems they are the same lifters that the Buick 350 uses...
D&D fab is at http://www.aluminumv8.com/ or try Wildcat engineering, over in Europe somewhere. http://www.roverv8engine.co.uk/index2.htm
Hi,I always use Rhoads hi-rev lifters.Had them in both my 3.5 & 4.6 rovers.Always work well without any problems.they bleed up and down to give improved perfomance and m.p.g. www.realsteel.co.uk I know there in the u.k. but you can have a look, then see if somebody can get them closer to you. Hope it helps.
