    i'm starting a 56 chevy pickup and was thinking about a292inline with at5,any body got some thoughts?

    Nuwguy, Hello & Welcome to the HAMB from South Texas.
    Look for 'Inliners', also look at 261's, they fit with no changes.

  5. 292 is a good engine, but as Lucky said a 261 would be more natural. Lots of go fast goodies out there for both.

    holowwwfrom oregon, ya put in the 6 make it a stick doul pi[es, it will run forever and sound like heven...once it s drivable start to make a plan, to manny of us start a car and work on it forever and miss most of the fun, go slow gow low
