chevy ilnline 6?

i'm starting a 56 chevy pickup and was thinking about a292inline with at5,any body got some thoughts?

 

i'm confused, are you thinking this while turning over the truck?

Look for 'Inliners', also look at 261's, they fit with no changes.

292 is a good engine, but as Lucky said a 261 would be more natural. Lots of go fast goodies out there for both.
