2x4's and heavy mil tarp work just fine. for heavy plastic, foundation liner works ok

  2. Actually, I was hoping someone had one set up with the mol***es so I could do a test(with a donation of BBQ or beer). I hate to go to the expsnse of setting one up if my parts are so thin there isn't enough left to re-build.

Does Mol***es actually work on rust??
And the size of your parts,How much will it take to completely cover them?
    Is it more cost effective?

I've got a buddy that swears by white vinegar. He's got a huge shop in Palestine, Tx with plenty of room, so he set up a fibergl*** shower with a pump that keeps a constant shower over the parts and it's big enough for hoods, etc...
I seen some pretty rusted parts come out looking like brand new metal.

RichardD - DUH -Use your hot tub your already a redneck! What about those used oil tanks with the aluminum cages around them ( 250 gallons, I think). There are some for sale close to my house. Go down past Mo's Texaco and it's at a house on the left.

  8. That is so funny, it did flash through my head! I don't think I will do that, though, as tempting as it is.

Richard, I would say no to the mol***es & vinegar. I use a product called Evapo-rust. Great stuff...

By the way when are you going to stop by my shop?

  10. I need to come by there soon.
