Well I have been lurking on here for about a month since I found the forum. Spend most of my time over in the classifieds as I am looking to pick up my first project vehicle. Been leaning towards trucks the last two years but everyone has opened my eyes on here to all the possibilities. I am glad to have found a forum with such a wealth of knowledge which I hope to tap into once I find the right vehicle in my budget. About me I am 30 years old, married, no kids yet, two dogs and a handful of motorcycles. Mostly newer bikes though I picked up a cafe project bike (CL350 Honda) a few months back. Been doing motorcycle road racing track days for a few years. But it getting expensive for my budget right now so the bike has to go and hopefully help fund my new project. Work in the parts dept of a motorcycle/snowmobile/atv/pwc dealer so the bike thing was always easier to get into. I long for a cool old vehicle though. Stephen
welcome from downers grove Il !!!!! may have a 51 ford pu that i might get rid of, if i can convince my wife! (shes the ford freak) i like to stick to others.
Is that truck in the middle a 60-66 Chevy. I have always leaned towards the Chevys but a friend of a friend has a 52 F1 for sale that looks pretty solid. But it needs quite a bit, motor, trans, glass, interior, electrical. It is basically a body, bed, frame, brakes, wheels. But for the right price you never know?
Smurph74 Welcome to the wonderful world of the HAMB and from west central Illinois soon you will be addicted to this place like the rest of us!I was wondering do you know where i can find a set of rust free fenders for a 52 f1 ford.If so shoot me a PM my cousing is building a 52 and is looking for some fenders for the front and rear.
Smurf74, Welcome from North Texas! Keep looking, something will turn up. For me it always turns up when I don't any money to buy it. Come to think of it, I never have money, nevermind!
Welcome and thanks for the interest in my '66 C10. It is nothing like the one pictured above! Do you think he's going to put that '32 grill shell on it?
There is nothing wrong with being a Ford freak, dear. You can't call yourself a chevy freak because your powered by Cadillac. (If you haven't already guessed I am "the wife")
