HAMB and RRT guys usually meet at 10 AM in the north/south connecting hallway.

I'm not the organizing type but lets say yes to Charlie's idea.

Leaving now with the boys. Look for a a Blissfield varsity jacket on a red head or a denim jacket with a '54 Chevy truck on the back. See you all at 10 am!

I bought some menial BS, my buddies found a few deals though. It was hard to see half of the stuff indoors, there were so many people, with so little room to navigate. It was good to see some familiar faces in the crowd.

The crowd wasn't bad at 8 a.m. I thought there where more people there today than I'd ever seen before. Everybody was sick of winter and a nice day made for people getting out

  6. Yup, good show. LOTS of people by the time I got there, next year I'll get there earlier. Picked up a few shop supplies.

Joe, uh, you do take a bit more room to navigate than others!

Good to meet those that I did. There were a few folks that were there that I didn't meet but it was good to see 348TriPower, Fuzzy, Enjenjo, FatCat, Phat Rat, 416Ford, JDubbya, Hot Rod Dave, and a few that actually gave NAMES not screen names like Paul and Vance! Who are you people?

Yes there were some cheap A frames there, at least 3 complete that I saw, all with SOLD stickers on them (that's how you know they were cheap) but I was looking for '54 Chevy truck parts and Court scored an NOS top grill bar from a guy from Chelsea. I got a card from an A guy that is local to me, he had a frame as well but I didn't see the price. If you need the number, I've got it here somewhere! He says he's got a ton of A stuff.

Yep,sure nice seeing the guys again after a long hard winter.Dan,one of my buddies bought one of those A frames for $100.It sure is a special thing you have going with your boys. You've got a couple of good kids there. We picked up the donor car for my subframe this afternoon.I bought a 74 Buick Apollo(same as Nova) complete car except for engine and trans.I'll finally be able to get the Coronet down in the weeds where it should be.

I realize that, but I still got stuck behind every flatulant old geezer that showed up today.:D

If you were looking for license plates, and you went home empty handed... I dont think the one you were looking for exists anymore. Seemed like every other vendor had license plates.

I am not meaning to complain, because a day of looking at car parts, is always a good time.

Funny you say that, Joe. I was looking AT license plates. (And being flatulant but I didn't think you noticed, sorry) I was flipping through '54s in Room B and the guy said "truck or car" I said "neither, I want initials." He said good luck. I pulled one out of his pile that had DB on it and I said, there it is, Dan Bowles. He just stared blank at me. I said, "That's MY initials."

He was like "Well, you'll never find that one again, you'd better buy it." "Nah, already got mine, I'm looking for his." I pointed to Courtland and set his plate back down.

I paid $15 for the DB one I have, I'm not paying $55 for another one!! You had to really want one to buy them from some of those guys. We did Find an AB and a DB. We want an EB '48 and a CB '54. If you can run YOM plates, you might as well get the ones you want!

Wish I had meet more of you guy's, I was busy talking to those that I did know and did not get to meet some of you. I think we all wanted to get back back in there and find the jewel. I found a couple of mirrors to try out and some sound deadener.
And those that I did meet it was nice to put a face to the name.
Vance is not a HAMB member. He is a muscle car guy so you can call hem Vance the Chevy II guy.
