Searched through 18 pages but didn't see the thread.
Does anyone have the shortcuts for Craigslist to search for certain years in their auto section?
Someone put it on here awhile back.
    Thanks
    GS

you can put in this... 195* for any cars from the 50s.... so if you're looking for a 1950 something desoto type in 195* desoto and it'll pull up all desotos from the 50s listed.

I typically use that trick, but just a few days ago I tried it and it wouldn't work. I haven't tried it since so I don't know if it was a fluke or something perminant.

Go to Google, or other good search engine.
Let's say you wanna search for Studebakers, OK?
Make sure you make a space between whatever you're searching for, and the word "site".

    Studebaker site:craigslist.org

You'll get every Studebaker on the website, or whatever you'd like to search for.

This didn't work for me. I would like to know how to do a national search on craigslist as opposed to searching in every location. Thanks

The 195* doesn't work anymore for some strange reason.

I've tried many sites in the past. This one is probably the best:
    http://www.craiglook.com

The only thing it doesn't do is email alerts.

I left them a message and the guy responded that he planned to add alerts early this year.:p
