Well man I can't even tell you how excited I am! Friday I picked up my frame & 100 other things from the powder coater, and I am thrilled at the result! They did a great job, and it should hold up great. They did a type of epoxy powder coat primer, then gloss black, and then a clear powder coat, and it really looks way deeper than I thought possible, & it really flowed in great too.

Me & dad got the rear end ***embly started, and don't have much left. Pretty much just need to bolt the rear spring mounts up and put the axles in-then the rear will be up on wheels!

The chrome stuff looks so good on the black, I can't wait to get the chrome front axle & chrome hairpins bolted up-I feel like a kid at xmas!!

Alright, here's some pics as it sits, it's getting there, let me know what you think-thanks for looking!

    Dan

The frame looks great! I ***ume the epoxy filler stuff you used worked pretty well? How does it sand?

Thanks a ton, I appreciate! The only downside is getting 3 hours sleep & going to work this morning:eek: But it's alright, I am so happy to finally see this thing somewhat get done

Thanks man. It really sanded pretty well. Not as easily as high quality plastic filler, but not bad either

Man your powder paint looks great. Wish they could do as nice a job around here, the local jobs look like they are doing farm machinery!

Guys, thanks a ton for the nice words, I really do appreciate! You know, I am on the fence a little about body color. The motor & ****** will be repainted, so my options are totally open at this point. Maybe Aqua blue with magenta heartbeat graphics though:p

4t64rd, man I wish I could have it done for Billetproof, but I dunno. Honestly probably not likely, but either way I'll be there. Work is keeping me busy,(which is good....), but I'll still put in a lot of late nights. The late nights just get a little easier when I can actually bolt something on for the last time.

Dan your dad PM'd me to tel me to look at your update. You where correct to figure if I didnt see one today I was gonna be busting your chop's.The frame look's great as expected. Now enough with the compliment's. I figure If I give you two week's to have a roller with engine and ****** installed Im giving you 10 more day's than you need. Now that your boltin **** together dont spend two more year's deciding what color to paint it.What the hell is wrong with the color you allready painted the motor. Right now the only thing that could slow you down from making the new deadline is picking a color. All you have to paint is an engine and trans to have a complete ch***is.By the way if you even think about painting graphic's I will start a pe***ion to have you permenatly banned from the HAMB.:D:D:D:D Gregg
