Model A measurement

    hey im puttin subrails in my model a i was wondering if someone could open their door and measure how wide the door opening is at the bottom above the subrail... i got 26 and 1/2 on one side and the other side i was an 1/8 under.

    If i was U I would fit it to the door that your going to use. I had to cut my subrails and spread them apart to get my doors to fit..

    the doors that are on it are the doors that are going to be used. they are the originals.

    i just want to know the correct measurement.

    And I measured my 31 Coupe and came away with drivers side @ 26.125" and p***anger side
    @26.0625". So..............don't know what to say. When you have the doors at this measurement do they double click when they are closed. I was told by a Model A restorer
    that if they double click they are perfect.
    I set mine up before welding in the steel floors front to back.

    i was pretty sure it was going to come out this way.. measurements being close but not a real science... yes both doors double click. i ***umed i would have to have either one set to where they work best.
