I need a picture of the front suspension of a 45 ford truck. im helping put one together and we think (me and my grampa) the wrong drag link got thrown in with the other parts when he bought it
Is it a 1/2 ton pickup? See if this helps you: http://www.vanpeltsales.com/FH_web/FH_images/FH_chassis-pics/Flathead_Suspension_1942-47comm.jpg My front is buried right now so I couldn't get you a pict and I an not sure that what I have is exactly stock anyway.
Yeah Its 1/2 ton. Its no rush I think I may have found the right drag link today. Its the right lenght and dosent hit anything but Id like to know if its the right one for that truck so pictures would still be helpfull in figuring it all out. I checked out the link but thats a diferant drag link than both of the ones we have. We kinda think the one we started with is for a car.
I just checked my pile of parts, it is pretty deep to get you a good pict. From what I could see the drag link I have has at least 1 bend in it. But to be fair the other link bar is bent and I know that one is supposed to be straight. So I don't know that it would even help you if I got you some picts.
I don't know if these will help, but it was freezing and I didn't wanna crawl around on the concrete too long.
