    Howza All-

So I read and gauked at Chopo's recent post about the yard he found and was intrigued by the Gremiln in the shots.

    GREMLIN??!!??

    REALLY?!

Well, yeah and call it the F-N-G.

    ****i-N-Gremlin

    Consider this.

They are light weight and accessible.

The engine bays are wide enough for most SBC's/SBF's or a really righteous American Motors Mill.

Imagine a Econo straight axle up front and a 9" Ford shackled rear axle.

Nosebleed stance or neo-Modern 70's era Highboy. I can see this blazing yellow with Mooneyes logos on it, or painted to look like Mark Donahue's NASCAR ride of the early 70's.

Am I "SPOOKY" or does anyone else see the possibilities.

It would be more out there than a V8 Pinto or Vega.

Plus if ya want to get that 70's vibe, hand letter that the driver of this little beast as "Harry Reems" or "Johnny Wad" or even "Ron Jeremy".

    Back in the day...
The Gremlin's had what it took to be street performers when equiped with a healthy V8, but they never gained widespread acceptance as serious race machines because the wheelbase was too short for any kind of stability, and there wasn't enough weight over the rear-end to get any traction.

That's the way I remember it.

    Nah. I don't own one.

Just was looking at an old issue of CARToons magazine and saw a drawing in the "letters" column and it started me to think.

I know it is not HAMB "friendly".

It is not from a desired era of iron.

Hell, I don't even like them, but I'd like to see what someone could build one if they were to get one for a song.
