A couple years ago I bought a product at the Pomona Swap Meet that was GREAT at cleaning oil stains off of the driveway. It was a very fine powder that you sprinkled on and the brushed around the stain and it literally removed the stains. Best stuff I ever found for doing that. I lent it to my brother and he lost the stuff and now I can't remember what it was called so I can order more. Any one know ???

I think I know what you are talking about. I will see if I can find out, because, my friend bought some of that gray pumice-y stuff and said that it worked supper.

  3. Thought there was a guy who sold it at the big 3 at Qualcomm in San Diego...I will keep my eyes open for it

Try dusting the stain with Portland cement.

they've got some of the fine powdery stuff at my local Fastenal. Works great, but I still use the regular clay kitty litter stuff... cheap

kitty litter will clean it up but the stuff I am talking about removed the stain completely. Could not even tell it was there.

I'm proud of my stains, why would you want to clean them up? I use kitty litter to **** up all the slipperyness, and the resulting stain is left as a testament to what has happened. This spot is where the FLH is parked, here's the very slow drip from the New Yorker rear end, the one over here is from the Buick transmission, this very clean looking white spot is where I spilled some battery acid, this big spot on the mattress is................

Like I said, they have the powdery stuff at my local Fastenal. I use the kitty litter because it's cheap. The powdery stuff works great, cleans up the stain, but it's about twice the price...

use kitty litter and do 'the twist' on the litter over the stain. grind it into the stain w/ your shoes. grind it in till its powdery.

Yep, thats the way they did it in the Navy, on the flight deck. I used to watch 5 guys do the twist for hours. I had to stop watching them because we were out sea for a very long time......LOL
