The G*** Hoppers (Chicago) put on a car show on June 25, 1962, at Morton Grove Dodge. The "heavy hitters" were in the showroom and service department. Others in the outside parking area. I didn't have a flash for my brownie, so I didn't get any inside photo's. Stu
Those are cool pics. Thanks for posting them. I'm always amazed at how many custom vettes there use to be. I guess they all got restored back to factory at some point.
Back in the late '70's a pal of mine picked up an old comp. coupe, it was a '48 Crosly and it had a Gas Hoppers dash tag in it.
I can only I.d. 2 of the cars in theese pics I am disapointed in myself. thank you for sharing them here. If you ever want to post more we would love to see em. I love chicago area hot rod and custom history.
