    <font color="green">Hot DAMN man!!!

    You found a "Ute"!!!

    Short for utility.

    Those Aussies love them!!!

When I was over there, they had a bunch of little ones running around, looked like Cavalier Elkies!!

There was a local guy that turned his 56 Olds or something into a UTE here. And, we can't forget Choprods' famous '58 Bel Camino. I love that thing.

Something like that I would auction my left nut off for. Aussies have neat stuff no one else does. I saw a 37 Chevy Phaeton on E-Gay a while ago. Again, factory built. Willys also had some neat Ausiie-only bodies - roadsters and such. Nicest lines, IMHO was the 35 Ford roadster ute....

  9. Hack I wonder what a 49Ute would look like with a longer door and roof -then lower the sides of the"bed" tapering downwards to a rolled style tailgate[kinda like] the Barris KopperKart pickup????? [IMG]Food for thought????????? [IMG]

We had coupe utes from '34 and a body style in the late '30's called a SLOPER. sorta like your 2 door sedans but the roof tapered off with more of a "slope" towards the rear of the car.

    Cheers and beers
