These repop Oldsmobile hubcaps

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by Pro Stock John, Feb 11, 2009.

  1. 1) Do they fit 77-85 GM wheels?

    2) Does anyone sell them anymore, HubcapMike (thx for the suggestion Bob) does not sell them new anymore:

I bought a set off of e-bay a couple years ago for $50.00 in good condition. They come up quite often over there.

I did not see them on fusick's site. I started picking them up as I see them at swap meets last year. I put a bullet in the center of one, totally changed the entire look of the cap.

REPOPS??? Holy molly, I have always used these caps on my Olds and Ford, usually bought them on ebay super cheap (never paid more than $15 set) never knew they would ever repop them.

The problem I had with the original ones were that they would fly off if the tabs were not adjusted to the rim, I think I had 80's chevy truck rims on the olds when this pic was taken, and I had dodge rims on the Ford

Remember losing one here in Austin driving down I35 and the cap came off hit the asphalt and went airborne, looked like a UFO

I didn't know they were repopping them, either, but I have at least 9 that I've bought on eBay over the past couple years and they are not very expensive because so many Olds cars came with them for so many years (something like 1951, 52, AND 53? Maybe even '54?)
