Hello all, let's first by saying this...love hot rods, muscle, pro touring etc...but that's not what I do... I restore old vw's..but not the usual fluff and buff...more like the real deal I guess, sorta like the muscle car restos that are now happening...but with a different flare. web addy has some of the work you can spec out. www.401restos.com got a couple of 'rods onthere I did for a few buddys and such...man I forget how much I miss em. the weather is never a good this as well as the economy out here but we make do. great site with some kick a$$ cars here holy crap!!! happn to se a thread containing Scott Sullivan's name here...kinda weird thought it was fake...I'm actually doing a car that is similar to his cheez whiz '55 for Iannotti who also owns his old nova...yep the 67...well I'm gonna poke around bit and take a gander at all the fantastic rods, street customs and avatars here!! thanks much!! Tim Scheller 401 Restos
welcome, some nice bugs you have done. i did a bug up 5 years ago from a 50 dollar burnt/smashed wreck. sold it a year ago and picked up a calendar at frys electronics and there she was, miss september 09, i was tripping out. only difference was a roof rack and they raised it. see you around
ah the fun beetle memories!! they are so typical, rusted beyond beleif, wiring problems and hacked up to the most extreme. cool pics...
welcome aboard from a vw girlie. just picked up my newest addition saturday, a 70 bay window deluxe. great pics you got, post more. we love pics
Welcome from North Texas. I have always wanted on bug, just never in the right place at the right time.
here's some kick a$$ ones for yooz... my fav: my other girl..'58 patina bug..Fuax paint...all new everything but looks wasted..
The new Bugs are ok but the old ones had style and class. The Fhurer's One good idea. A car for the masses.
yeah love the cars...but ain't a hippie and DO NOT love the "meaning" and such...started with muscle cars years ago and just wanted something different...as you can seee I hate em stock for myself but that's just fine for the customers. the black and maroon pro mod just made it home yesterday after a years build...she's wuite the hand full...with over 400hp and a stout trans it makes for a killer street car. the patina one on the other hand is a low and slow runner...borderline daily driver. cheers
So sweet thanks for sharing the pics. Enjoy the HAMB!!! I had a 61 and a 62 back in the day! Fun seeing your work. Slim
